First robot fully modeled by me in my junior year. Self-taught CAD for this project. With 4-DOFs, I was also responsible for the control strategy, where I utilized a graph structure to ensure safe movements. Fastest paths between each node are preloaded for O(1) lookup, where each node represents a set of four setpoints for each subsystem. Feedforward and PID control are used for indivdual mechanism control.

Class 1 waypoint-guided rocket designed to follow a constrained 3D trajectory using a custom TVC mount and active fins. Powered by a G-class motor. Performance specs (speed, altitude, acceleration) are pending, and specific low-level control is under evaluation.

I’m leading the full system design, including recovery and backend controls. I also oversee avionics, frontend integration, and launch operations.

My first rocket, modeled and designed completely by myself. It will use a G-class motor, reaching a max altitude of just under a mile, and go half the speed of sound.

As a freshman, I independently learned Java and the FRC control libraries, becoming solely responsible for all robot code. I taught myself core control theory concepts, including feedforward, feedback, and finite state machines, and applied them throughout the robot code.

Quetzy competed at an elite level, finishing 21st worldwide in EPA.

My second year on the team, I led software development for Xochi. I oversaw newer developers and their progress on simple subsystems. Personally, I contributed to more advanced parts of the robot, including developing global pose localization using three cameras on the robot. I was also responsible for inter-subsystem communication, especially where collisions were expected between the shooter and intake.
